5 Helpful tips to get your business moving & make $$$ using social media:

Social media is different from traditional marketing. IF you are planning to run your social media campaign like a traditional marketing campaign… YOU are likely to see more damage  than the benefits that social media offers.

Let’s take a look at Pressed Juice Company, popularly known across Australia as an example…

(1). Be Active

As you can see below, Pressed Juice utilizes four different social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & Twitter) to keep in touch with their loyal followers. Staying active on a day-to-day basis with their social media enables Pressed Juice to engage in an open and active discussion with their 98.1k followers on Instagram. You can't be inactive and expect results right??

(2). Be Interesting

It is important to entertain your loyal followers and I would say Pressed Juice has never failed in doing so. They would often reward their customers by re-sharing their artistic pictures on their social media accompanied with short phrases seeking for their customer's opinion. This has enabled them to generate ongoing conversation with their customers.  Haven't you heard of the phrase "picture is worth a thousand words"?? (Take a look at one of pressed juice social media, and get ready to be impressed!) ;)

(3). Be Humble

"Brand Humility is the only response to a fast-change and competitive marketplace. The humble brand understands that it needs to re-earn attention, re-earn loyalty and reconnect with its audience as if everyday is the first day."
- Seth Godin

I agree! Whether it is a brand/consumer relationship, any relationship requires humility. With Pressed Juice, it is never about ego-driven campaign but more of engaging in a personal relationship with their healthy customers who are interested in wellness and and being healthy. Remember! Any "Facebook addicts", or "Instagrammers" can become your potential customers. :)

(4). Be unprofessional
Blend in with the online virtual environment! Brands using social platforms like, Twitter or Instagram, it is sensible to blend in by adopting the same principal, using informal style and tone of voice. Pressed Juice have also done it even better by following the trends of #Hashtags, very much any other "Instagrammer" would do!

(5). Be Honest
Honesty is the best policy! It is important to be honest with your customers and never give out misleading informations (when you are not sure!). Well thankfully with Pressed Juice, the nutritional ingredients in their juices along with the benefits listed on social media are verified by their well-certified nutritionists. Never take it for granted that these loyal followers will never find out. After all, don't forget you are dealing with some of the most technologically sophisticated people on the planet. :D
